Growing up in the vibrant city, he developed his big dreams from a very young age. Dubai and its atmosphere inspired him to think big and reach higher. Since his childhood he focused on his studies and started his schooling at Dubai International School, where he showed a keen interest in science, business, and problem-solving. His teachers and classmates often admired his discipline, passion, and sharp thinking.
Arif and his family made a life-changing decision to move to Preston, United Kingdom. Even though it wasn’t easy, Arif was able to learn about new things and try a different way of life. During this phase, he behaved sincerely and focused on adjusting quickly where he continued his education with a positive attitude. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Central Lancashire. But he wanted to continue higher studies and later, he went on to complete his Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering at the Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh, Scotland. His academic journey played a vital role shaping his technical skills which actually helped him to build a strong foundation for his future.
Soon after completing his education, Arif took a bold step and made his presence in the business world. In 2012, he founded Preston Trading, a company that later became a leader in its field. He started Preston Trading with his vision to bring eco-friendly, innovative, and effective solutions to the world of oil and gas, mining, and engineering.

Today, Preston Trading operates in multiple fields such as, Oil and Gas Exploration & Production, Oilfield Services, Mining, and Advanced Engineering Solutions.
